Using Libraries

This module of the tutorial provides training aimed at making you more effective in your use of libraries. It also includes information about discovering and obtaining access to additional libraries that may be useful in your research.

This module will help you to:

  • get the most out of your library visits by forward planning
  • use library catalogues effectively
  • enlist the help of library staff
  • access photocopying and inter-library loans facilities
  • understand how copyright laws apply to you

It should take you approximately 20 minutes to work through the whole of this module.
