Access to 'e-resources' for holders of library cards within the ULRLS

What is available

We have currently made available the following Web resources>
Please note that that this table will list what resources are available to you from off-site according to the licensing conditions in force.

An increasing number of E-journals are also available in this way. You can search across a selection of the major fulltext or index sites using our Metafind Cross-search, or from ULRLS catalogue links.

See the Journals pages for fuller information.

How to access them

You can now use the links on the ULRLS website and in many cases from individual library catalogue entries.
You will be asked for your name and Library card number to log in.

Please note that in some cases access may be restricted to specific user groups according to the licensing agreement in force. (see under Web resources for details)

We have more to do

Certain resources are either not yet technically compatible with this environment or our licensing deal does not yet allow us to use this route. Thus there will be resources that can only be used from the physical library site.
The support of library staff for any of the resources will also only be available on-site.

Forwarding your search to other resources

The `Search other resources' button you see on the catalogue search results page allows you to forward your search to other resources (such as Library Catalogues and web resources such as Ingenta Journals) without re-keying. This list of target resources are continually being refined and configured to fit the context of your initial search.
