Databases and electronic resources
Senate House Libraries provide a great number of electronic
resources to its members.
Use the list on the left to navigate your way through our
resources.
For those resources marked offsite, you will be redirected to
our catalogue login panel. Once there, if you are a University of
London member, you will need to insert you library account
credentials. You will then be able to access the resource.
Bookmarking Resources
Beside each resource you will see two icons. The first of these
is delicious
. Delicious is a bookmarking web
service which allows you to access your web bookmarks from
anywhere. You can tag these bookmarks in any way you see fit. So,
for example, if you are writing a piece on Samuel Beckett, you can
tag the resource, SB, SamBeckett and so on. This will help to
structure what can sometimes be a very cumbersome task: that of
organising the multitude of resources you come across on the
web.
The second icon belongs to Google Bookmarks
.
Google Bookmarks is a free online bookmark storage service,
available to Google Account holders. Google Bookmarks allows you to
bookmark favorite websites and add labels or tags, and also notes.
If you do not have a Google account, you will need to create
one.
